Nafplion is called by many
as one of the most beautiful towns of Greece.
The port and capital of the
prefecture Argolis has been from 1829 to 1834 the temporary capital
of Greece.
In the romantic alleys many
boutiques and cafes invite you for strolling and pausing.
The biggest places of
interest of the town are the stronghold Akronauplia and the fort
Palamidi as well as the harbour. Nafplion is 35 km away from
the hotel of Heleni and to reach by car in approx. 45 minutes.
