Mykene is one of the most significant excavation
site on the Peloponnesus and also of Greece. Visit this fascinating
castle of the Agamemnon with the famous lion's gate which was
exposed in 1876 by Heinrich Schliemann. Since 1999 it is count to
the world cultural heritage of UNESCO.
The excavation site is reachable from the hotel by the car in
approx. 1 hour. At a day trip the inspection of the archaeological
site joins with a visit of the city of Nafplion.
