CLOISTERS AND CHURCHES
In immediate closeness of Epidavros there are to visit a row of
impressive churches and cloisters.
Such as the convent Kalami whose nuns are far known for her icon
paintings, the cloister of Moni Agnoundos with its church 'Kimsis
tis Theotokou' and the small chapel 'Agois Joannis o Theologos',
respectively the cloister of Agno, high situated above a rocky
canyon.
Wonderful wanderings are also possible from and to these cloisters.
Besides these, enthusiasts can discover many other picturesque
churches and chapels at a visit in our region.
